Panel discussion in the British Embassy Berlin about the future of sales for life insurance and unit linked products

What are the (regulatory) changes that independent insurance intermediaries and brokers will face in Germany by 2030? What consequences will the EU’s Retail Investment Strategy have for Sales? And how should the final report of the focus group on the reform of state-subsidised private pension provision be assessed?

These were the topics of a vivid discussion at a high-calibre panel with representatives from politics, consumer protection, broker associations and academia, to which Standard Life invited independent brokers and journalists to the British Embassy in Berlin after a five-year break. Gerle Financial Communications was once again commissioned by Standard Life to provide editorial support for this event, to write a report on the event (see article in German trade publication AssCompact) and to conduct interviews with the speakers.
