Matthews Asia has launched the „Matthews Asia Sustainable Future Fund“, its first Article 9 UCITS strategy under the European Union’s „Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation“ (SFDR). The Matthews Asia Sustainable Future Fund follows a similar active investment approach as the Matthews Asia ESG Fund, which has been available to investors in the U.S. since 2015. Both Funds are managed by Vivek Tanneeru (pictured above), Lead Manager, and supported by Kathlyn Collins, Analyst and Head of ESG at Matthews Asia. Matthews Asia also announced that five of its existing UCITS funds have now been categorised as Article 8 funds under SFRD regulations.
