Auch wenn das Interesse an den \u201eEmerging Markets\u201d (EM) \u2013 nicht zuletzt nach dem historischen BRICS-Gipfel in Johannesburg und der G20-Konferenz in Indien \u2013 derzeit wieder gro\u00df ist: Aktien aus Schwellen\u00e4ndern sind, zumindest was ihre Bewertungen anbelangt, noch weit von ihren H\u00f6chstst\u00e4nden entfernt. \u201eDie Emerging Markets sind seit 2006 nicht mehr in einem Bullen-Markt gewesen\u201d, h\u00e4lt Kamil Dimmich, Portfoliomanager bei der britischen Investmentboutique Pacific Asset Management<\/a>, n\u00fcchtern fest.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Der von Citywire mit einem \u201eAA“ bewertete Dimmich<\/a> leitet den 1,15 Mrd. USD (Stand 31. Juli 2023) gro\u00dfen Pacific North of South All Cap Equity Fund<\/a>. Er sieht etliche Schwellenl\u00e4nder aufgrund ihrer \u201evielen unterschiedlichen Dynamiken\u201d und geringen Korrelationen untereinander trotzdem auf einem guten Weg.<\/p>\n

Korrelationen zwischen Schwellenl\u00e4ndern viel geringer<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dimmich verweist auf die BRICS-Staaten (Brasilien, Russland, Indien, China und S\u00fcdafrika) und die sechs Anw\u00e4rter, die zum Jahreswechsel in die illustre Runde aufgenommen werden sollen: Saudi-Arabien, Iran, die Vereinigten Arabischen Emirate (VAE), Argentinien, \u00c4gypten und \u00c4thiopien. Auch wenn China, Argentinien und die VAE aufgrund v\u00f6llig unterschiedlicher Entwicklungsstadien, Bev\u00f6lkerungsgr\u00f6\u00dfen und Regierungsformen schwer unter einen Hut zu bringen seien, gereiche gerade diese Diversit\u00e4t Anlegern zum Vorteil: \u201eDie Korrelationen zwischen den Emerging Markets sind viel geringer als die zwischen Industrienationen.\u201d<\/p>\n

Deshalb bieten die EM unter allen Arten von regionalen Aktienmandaten vermutlich die gr\u00f6\u00dfte Gelegenheit f\u00fcr aktive Asset Manager, passive Indizes zu \u00fcbertreffen, so Dimmich. Das liege n\u00e4mlich vor allem an der geringen Korrelation der Schwellenl\u00e4nder untereinander. Der Fondsmanager verdeutlicht das an einer Zahlenspanne, welche die Abh\u00e4ngigkeit der Entwicklung eines Landes von einem anderen zeigt: von 1,0, wenn M\u00e4rkte im Gleichklang sind, bis zu \u20131,0 mit genau gegenl\u00e4ufigen Entwicklungen.<\/p>\n

\u201eGewinne in Indonesien k\u00f6nnen Ausverkauf in China wettmachen\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201eIn den vergangenen zw\u00f6lf Monaten hat der MSCI-Index f\u00fcr Brasilien eine Korrelation von unter 0,1 gegen\u00fcber Taiwan oder den VAE gehabt\u201d, sagt der Experte. \u201eIndonesien hatte null Korrelation zu Mexiko und S\u00fcdafrika und sogar eine negative Korrelation gegen\u00fcber China.\u201d F\u00fcr die entwickelten L\u00e4nder k\u00f6nne er das Gleiche nicht sagen: Abgesehen von Japan und der Schweiz mit relativ niedrigen 0,33 legten diese im selben Zeitraum wesentlich h\u00f6here Abh\u00e4ngigkeiten von 0,4 bis zu 0,9 an den Tag.<\/p>\n

\u201eEin diversifiziertes Portfolio hilft Investoren, einen l\u00e4ngerfristigen Blick zu behalten, ohne den Druck, auf abrupte Portfoliobewegungen reagieren zu m\u00fcssen\u201d, sagt der Manager von Pacific AM abschlie\u00dfend. \u201eSelbst wenn in China wie derzeit gerade Ausverkauf angesagt ist, k\u00f6nnen Anleger die Verluste beispielsweise durch Aktiengewinne aus Indonesien kompensieren. Unruhige M\u00e4rkte, wie wir sie gerade in diesem Jahr haben, sind deshalb f\u00fcr uns gar nicht so schlecht. Es gibt viele coole Anlagem\u00f6glichkeiten, die noch gar nicht eingepreist sind.\u201d<\/p>\n

Der Pacific North of South Emerging Markets All Cap Equity Fund<\/a> von Pacific AM ist ein aktiv verwalteter globaler Schwellenl\u00e4nderaktienfonds. Der Fonds, der von den Emerging-Markets-Veteranen Matthew Linsey und Kamil Dimmich verwaltet wird, wurde im November 2017 aufgelegt und hat ein Fondsvolumen von 1,15 Mrd. USD (Stand: 31.
